Privacy Policy

Fooyas ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Greatspire (barbara@greatspire.io). We take your privacy seriously — especially since our whole product is about helping you make informed decisions about what goes into your body. The same principle applies to your data.
1. What we collect
Right now, Fooyas is in pre-launch waitlist mode. We collect very little:
- Email address — when you sign up for the waitlist.
- Health concern preference — if you optionally select one (e.g. "Inflammation," "Hormones"). This helps us prioritize features.
- Basic analytics — page views, referral source, browser type. We use privacy-friendly analytics (no invasive tracking).
We do not collect passwords, payment information, health records, or any sensitive personal data at this stage.
2. How we use your data
- To notify you when Fooyas launches and send you early access invites.
- To understand which health concerns matter most to our community (aggregate, anonymized).
- To occasionally send product updates. We aim for no more than 2 emails per month during pre-launch.
We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Where your data is stored
Your email and preferences are stored in Google Sheets (via Make.com automation) during the waitlist phase. Once we launch, data will migrate to a secure, encrypted database hosted within the EU/EEA or US with SOC 2-compliant providers.
4. Third-party services
We use the following services that may process your data:
- Make.com — form submission automation (EU-based).
- Google Workspace — email storage during waitlist.
- Vercel — website hosting (no personal data stored).
Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
5. Cookies
Our waitlist page uses no tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will use privacy-friendly tools (e.g. Plausible, Fathom) that do not require cookie consent banners under GDPR.
6. Your rights
Regardless of where you're located, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct any inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data at any time ("right to be forgotten").
- Unsubscribe — every email we send will include a one-click unsubscribe link.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fooyas.com. We'll respond within 48 hours.
7. Data retention
We retain your waitlist data until one of the following occurs: you request deletion, you unsubscribe, or 12 months pass after launch without you creating an account. At that point, your data is permanently deleted.
8. Children's privacy
Fooyas is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as Fooyas evolves from waitlist to full product. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify existing subscribers by email if changes are material.
